What does the CE mark mean?

CE stands for "European Conformity." A product in one of the controlled product categories cannot legally be sold in the EU unless it has passed the tests to receive the CE marking. The CE mark signifies that products (like our light fixtures) sold in the EEA have been assessed to meet high safety, health and environmental protection requirements. By affixing the CE mark to a product, we declare that the product meets all the legal requirements for CE marketing and can be sold throughout the EEA. This also applies to products made in other countries that are sold in the EEA.
